	Balcke exhibits a chimney cooler at the trade and industrial show in Düsseldorf.

1904
	With about 1,400 wet cooling towers in operation worldwide, the Balcke chimney cooler experiences great demand.


1905
	The Bochum-based parent company and the Frankenthal pump factory are merged to form Maschinenbau Aktiengesellschaft Balcke with a capital stock of 1.5 million marks.
