2000
	Balcke builds the largest natural draft cooling tower with a flue gas discharge system.
2001
SPX Corporation acquires United Dominion Industries and, along with it, the Marley Cooling Tower Company.
	Work is completed on an air cooled condenser in Nevada, U.S.A.
2002
SPX acquires Balcke Cooling and Ceramic Cooling Tower businesses. The product line now includes the full line of air-cooled industrial products. Marley officially changes its name to Marley Cooling Technologies, Inc.
2003
Marley/Balcke acquires from Hamon CIE its Global Dry and NAFTA Wet Cooling businesses.
	An air cooled condenser for a power plant in Zhangshan, China is installed.
2004
Marley partners with Trane to private-label the NC and Primus tower. The MH Fluid Cooler with CoolBoost Technology is introduced.
	The Astoria Project is completed — the first time a pre-assembled air-cooled condenser is shipped to a site in modules.
	The first circular mechanical draft cooling tower with natural draft assistance and a seawater cooling circuit is built.
2005
The first heating tower, a revolutionary solution for the natural gas industry, is sold.
	An air cooled condenser is installed in Gujiao, China as one of many projects ongoing in this booming area of the world.
Marley officially changes its name to SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc., bringing the Marley, Balcke, Hamon Dry Cooling, Ceramic, and Recold brands together as one business.
