Recold Remote SumpThe Recold RS series is a skid-mounted, stainless steel Remote Sump Tank that includes a Cla-Val make-up water valve as well as overflow, drain and pump suction connections. The tank is constructed of heavy gauge series 304 stainless steel, welded and strengthened with strategically placed stiffeners to increase the durability and longevity of the tank. The unit also includes a pump suction screen and an internal baffle to prolong the life of the water make-up valve. When using a Recold Remote Sump Tank, the standard recirculation pump that is usually mounted on the Evaporative Condenser or Fluid Cooler is relocated to the Remote Sump Tank. This pump is supplied by the installing contractor. Recold can engineer, mount and pipe the re-circulating pump if requested.
