LNG Heating Tower - LNG Vaporization
Overview
A new family of vaporization systems have been developed that use heat from the atmosphere working in parallel with gas combustion units. In these applications, the amount of natural gas required has been reduced by 60-90 percent on an annual basis. SPX Cooling Technologies’ unique, patent-pending heating tower designs offer unique capabilities that allow maximum atmospheric heat transfer while optimizing footprint and electrical power consumption.

Related Information:
Introducing dramatically more efficient re-gasification
Fewer Emissions
Unlike environmentally harmful processes that burn natural gas for energy, Atmospheric Heat Vaporization Systems can reduce carbon dioxide and NOx emissions by as much as 90%.
Less Consumption of Natural Gas
Any major oil company or natural gas marketer operating an LNG terminal can expect to save 20% – 90% of the energy required by traditional methods of heating.
Generate Pure Water
The heat transfer process condenses water from the atmosphere, delivering up to 1 million gallons of water a day to the local community.
