Overview
MarDek is a high-strength grating support system designed to accommodate all loads associated with trickling filter operation.
With cross-bar construction, MarDek allows the grating panel to be easily cut and modified to fit almost any tank configuration. MarDek can be supported by MarPier, concrete piers, or concrete blocks.

MarDek is a flame retardant high strength pultruded fiberglass composite utilizing a polyester or vinyl ester resin.
It is typically made with 2” tall T-shape beams, spaced apart to allow wastewater passage. The multi-beam design provides an ideal bearing surface which spreads the load of the media.
Typical MarDek panels are one-foot wide and easy to handle and can be supplied in various lengths to accommodate different tank sizes with minimal waste.
