Overland Park, Kan. – SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc., a full-line, full-service industry leader in the design and manufacture of evaporative cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchangers, will showcase Marley® cooling tower components and provide details on a new service contractor training series at this year’s Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) Education Conference from Oct. 15-18, in Boca Raton, Florida.
SPX’s cooling tower components include the Marley-branded MBX fill, X7 fan, bearings and fan shafts, hot water basins, fan belts and sheaves, and spiral target crossflow nozzles. These components work with a variety of non-Marley cooling tower brands.
SPX will also promote its new service contractor training series, titled the Marley School of Cool. Each session offers an action-packed agenda with 10 hours of hands-on product and parts training, six hours of classroom learning, and tours of Marley’s Research and Development Center and Manufacturing Plant. Hands-on activities include changing out pinon shaft oil seals, driveshafts and many other tower components, assembling and tearing down fans, and installing fill. SPX’s team of experts ensure service contractors are armed with knowledge to successfully start up, inspect and service cooling towers.
The next three-day training session is scheduled for Nov. 7-9, 2017. Three 2018 dates are also available: Jan. 9-11, April 3-5, July 17-19, Nov. 6-8. After completing the three-day training session, attendees are awarded Factory Trained Certificates.
