La centrale \u00e9lectrique de 50 MW, qui utilise les tours de refroidissement Marley NC\u00ae, a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le premier incendie de la premi\u00e8re centrale \u00e9lectrique au dioxyde de carbone supercritique \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle au monde en mai 2018, prouvant le cycle Allam-Fetvedt. Aujourd&#039;hui, c&#039;est une installation d&#039;essais op\u00e9rationnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec pour objectif le d\u00e9ploiement mondial de centrales \u00e9lectriques commerciales de 300 MW de classe \u00e9lectronique en 2023, le processus de production d&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de la centrale \u2013 connu sous le nom de cycle Allam-Fetvedt \u2013 a montr\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats positifs tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s dans la production efficace d&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 moindre co\u00fbt tout en capturant le pipeline. du dioxyde de carbone, de l&#039;eau liquide, de l&#039;azote et de l&#039;argonne de qualit\u00e9 industrielle, le tout sans \u00e9missions atmosph\u00e9riques et sans pollution par les oxydes d&#039;azote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R\u00c9UTILISATION ET RECYCLAGE DE RESSOURCES NATURELLES DE VALEUR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats enviables de l\u2019utilisation du gaz naturel \u2013 que les efforts de production d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9olienne et solaire tentent encore de produire \u2013 offrent des avantages suppl\u00e9mentaires au secteur de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Capter les \u00e9l\u00e9ments naturels, au lieu de les \u00e9mettre sous forme de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre, permet de franchir une nouvelle \u00e9tape vers un avenir \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique plus propre, durable et abordable : l\u2019\u00e9mergence d\u2019une nouvelle \u00e9conomie autour de la r\u00e9utilisation et du recyclage des sous-produits naturels en tant que ressources industrielles pr\u00e9cieuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plut\u00f4t que d\u2019\u00e9mettre des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre, le CO2 utile et pr\u00e9cieux sur le plan industriel est captur\u00e9 et commercialis\u00e9, ainsi que d\u2019autres sous-produits de gaz industriels (argon et azote). Ces gaz peuvent alors entra\u00eener une r\u00e9duction propre des co\u00fbts, une r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration am\u00e9lior\u00e9e du p\u00e9trole par s\u00e9questration du carbone, l\u2019\u00e9puration des gaz acides, la production de b\u00e9ton et de plastique et la production d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019autres voies vers la r\u00e9utilisation et le recyclage du CO2 \u00e9mergent \u00e9galement. Un projet notable est men\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbfix.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Solution de glucides<\/a>, une entreprise qui travaille \u00e0 m\u00e9langer le CO2 captur\u00e9 avec de l&#039;eau et \u00e0 l&#039;injecter profond\u00e9ment dans la terre o\u00f9 le CO2 se lie chimiquement \u00e0 la roche basaltique pour former de nouvelles roches en quelques ann\u00e9es plut\u00f4t que sur une p\u00e9riode de plusieurs centaines d&#039;ann\u00e9es.
