{"id":27246,"date":"2024-09-26T15:55:02","date_gmt":"2024-09-26T20:55:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spxcooling.com\/?p=27246"},"modified":"2024-09-26T16:06:07","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T21:06:07","slug":"managing-the-houston-heat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spxcooling.com\/fr\/news\/managing-the-houston-heat\/","title":{"rendered":"G\u00e9rer la chaleur \u00e0 Houston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En sp\u00e9cifiant un nouveau refroidisseur de fluide Marley\u00ae MH Element\u2122 de SPX Cooling Tech, LLC, Letsos Company a fourni une alternative plus efficace et plus durable \u00e0 la r\u00e9paration du refroidisseur existant en d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration d&#039;un b\u00e2timent historique de Houston tout en conservant une empreinte similaire, simplifiant ainsi le processus d&#039;installation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le retour d&#039;une ic\u00f4ne<\/strong><br \/>\nLa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Letsos a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;entretien du syst\u00e8me CVC de l&#039;ancien h\u00f4tel Plaza, un b\u00e2timent embl\u00e9matique de neuf \u00e9tages situ\u00e9 dans le quartier des mus\u00e9es de Houston, au Texas, pendant pr\u00e8s d&#039;une d\u00e9cennie. Situ\u00e9 juste au nord du mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts, le b\u00e2timent a ouvert ses portes en 1926 et \u00e9tait autrefois connu comme le premier \u00ab h\u00f4tel \u00e0 un million de dollars \u00bb de Houston. Ses chambres luxueuses et sa cuisine raffin\u00e9e en ont fait un joyau de la ville, et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#039;un des premiers b\u00e2timents de la r\u00e9gion \u00e0 utiliser une technologie de pointe \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque : la climatisation.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9but 2023, lorsque le moment est venu pour le propri\u00e9taire du b\u00e2timent d&#039;effectuer une \u00e9ni\u00e8me r\u00e9paration sur l&#039;\u00e9quipement de son syst\u00e8me - cette fois sur le refroidisseur de fluide du b\u00e2timent, un investissement important - l&#039;entrepreneur s&#039;est assis avec les exploitants pour trouver une meilleure solution.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Les mini-pompes \u00e0 chaleur du b\u00e2timent ont rencontr\u00e9 des probl\u00e8mes r\u00e9currents avec l\u2019eau du condenseur, le refroidisseur de liquide existant n\u00e9cessitait sans cesse des r\u00e9parations et, au final, le syst\u00e8me n\u2019arrivait plus \u00e0 maintenir les temp\u00e9ratures \u00bb, explique Garrett Eklund, chef de projet et estimateur pour les projets sp\u00e9ciaux chez Letsos. \u00ab Le co\u00fbt de l\u2019entretien \u00e9tait devenu trop \u00e9lev\u00e9 et le refroidisseur de liquide devait \u00eatre remplac\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Letsos a fait appel \u00e0 l&#039;aide de S&amp;S HVAC Equipment, experts en tours de refroidissement et refroidisseurs de fluides bas\u00e9s \u00e0 Houston, pour \u00e9tablir un devis pour une nouvelle tour et comparer les co\u00fbts. L&#039;\u00e9quipe a s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 le refroidisseur de fluides Marley, un mod\u00e8le similaire \u00e0 l&#039;original, dot\u00e9 d&#039;une construction en acier inoxydable et de serpentins en cuivre.<\/p>\n<p>SPX vous conseille sur le choix du bon refroidisseur de fluide : https:\/\/spxcooling.com\/news\/choosing-the-right-fluid-cooler\/<\/p>\n<p><strong>L&#039;emplacement \u00ab \u00e0 un million de dollars \u00bb<\/strong><br \/>\nAu d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1980, l&#039;h\u00f4tel et l&#039;immeuble d&#039;appartements ont ferm\u00e9 leurs portes apr\u00e8s avoir eu du mal \u00e0 s&#039;adapter \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque. Il est rest\u00e9 ferm\u00e9 jusqu&#039;\u00e0 son achat par un cabinet d&#039;architectes et de design local en 2005. Le b\u00e2timent a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9nov\u00e9 et de nouveaux syst\u00e8mes m\u00e9caniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s en 2007 pour maintenir la fra\u00eecheur dans le climat chaud de Houston. Le quartier autour du b\u00e2timent a \u00e9galement connu une revitalisation bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;emplacement populaire du b\u00e2timent a entra\u00een\u00e9 une augmentation de la circulation. L&#039;une des premi\u00e8res \u00e9tapes du projet de remplacement du refroidisseur de fluide a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 d&#039;obtenir les permis n\u00e9cessaires pour fermer la rue afin de pouvoir mettre en place le nouvel \u00e9quipement \u00e0 l&#039;aide d&#039;une grue. Pour faciliter les choses, le refroidisseur de fluide a \u00e9t\u00e9 situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;arri\u00e8re du b\u00e2timent, au-dessus d&#039;un garage de stationnement qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 lors des r\u00e9novations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Le b\u00e2timent est situ\u00e9 dans une zone urbaine \u00e9troite et assez peupl\u00e9e, nous devions donc en tenir compte \u00bb, se souvient Tom Brimer, associ\u00e9 commercial de Letsos. \u00ab Le refroidisseur de liquide est arriv\u00e9 un jeudi apr\u00e8s-midi et la rue \u00e9tait ferm\u00e9e. Nous avions pr\u00e9vu de retirer l&#039;unit\u00e9 de la rue vendredi et de la remettre en service samedi soir. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une surprise ind\u00e9sirable<\/strong><br \/>\nLe refroidisseur de fluide est arriv\u00e9 sur le site en deux morceaux : la partie inf\u00e9rieure contenait les rang\u00e9es de bobines de cuivre de l&#039;unit\u00e9, et la partie sup\u00e9rieure contenait le remplissage et le ventilateur du refroidisseur de fluide. Chaque pi\u00e8ce a \u00e9t\u00e9 inspect\u00e9e et pr\u00e9par\u00e9e pour \u00eatre soulev\u00e9e le soir m\u00eame. Mais avant de soulever l&#039;unit\u00e9, l&#039;\u00e9quipe a remarqu\u00e9 qu&#039;un support sur l&#039;une des pi\u00e8ces avait \u00e9t\u00e9 endommag\u00e9 pendant le transport et devait \u00eatre r\u00e9par\u00e9 avant de le soulever en place.<\/p>\n<p>Letsos a contact\u00e9 S&amp;S, et ils \u00e9taient disponibles imm\u00e9diatement. \u00ab Nous avons une \u00e9quipe de finition en attente pour tous nos projets \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Angela Sherman, pr\u00e9sidente de S&amp;S HVAC Equipment. \u00ab \u00c0 ce stade, l&#039;ancienne unit\u00e9 \u00e9tait en panne et il n&#039;y avait pas de d\u00e9lai optionnel, il fallait trouver une solution. Et c&#039;est exactement ce que nous avons fait. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;\u00e9quipe S&amp;S a r\u00e9par\u00e9 le support sur place et a contact\u00e9 l&#039;\u00e9quipe d&#039;ing\u00e9nierie de SPX Cooling pour approuver la pi\u00e8ce r\u00e9par\u00e9e. L&#039;\u00e9quipe d&#039;ing\u00e9nierie a examin\u00e9 les r\u00e9parations et les a approuv\u00e9es le jour m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installation et mise en service ordonn\u00e9es<\/strong><br \/>\nApr\u00e8s un petit contretemps, le reste du projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9 comme pr\u00e9vu. Le refroidisseur de fluide a \u00e9t\u00e9 livr\u00e9 jeudi et mis en place le lendemain. Une fois l&#039;unit\u00e9 install\u00e9e, les \u00e9quipes \u00e9taient toutes pr\u00eates \u00e0 commencer \u00e0 installer la tuyauterie. La tuyauterie a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9e et mise \u00e0 jour vendredi et pr\u00e9par\u00e9e pour le d\u00e9marrage samedi. Le processus de d\u00e9marrage s&#039;est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 comme pr\u00e9vu et le syst\u00e8me \u00e9tait de nouveau en ligne samedi, sans retard.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9marrage, nous avons constat\u00e9 quelques probl\u00e8mes avec le syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le, mais ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rapidement r\u00e9solus \u00bb, a not\u00e9 Eklund. \u00ab Nous avons \u00e9galement d\u00fb \u00e9quilibrer toutes les pompes \u00e0 chaleur du b\u00e2timent.
