La centrale elettrica da 50 MW, che utilizza torri di raffreddamento Marley NC\u00ae, ha raggiunto il primo incendio della prima centrale elettrica a anidride carbonica supercritica su larga scala al mondo nel maggio 2018, dimostrando il ciclo Allam-Fetvedt. Oggi \u00e8 una struttura di collaudo operativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con l&#039;obiettivo di implementare a livello globale centrali elettriche su scala commerciale di classe E da 300 MW nel 2023, il processo di generazione di energia dell&#039;impianto, noto come ciclo Allam-Fetvedt, ha mostrato risultati positivi molto apprezzati nella produzione efficiente di elettricit\u00e0 a basso costo, catturando al contempo anidride carbonica pronta per la conduttura, acqua liquida, azoto e argonne di qualit\u00e0 industriale, il tutto con zero emissioni nell&#039;aria e nessun inquinamento da ossido di azoto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RIUTILIZZO E RICICLO DI RISORSE NATURALI PREZIOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tali invidiabili risultati dell&#039;uso del gas naturale, che gli sforzi di produzione di energia eolica e solare stanno ancora tentando di produrre, offrono ulteriori vantaggi all&#039;industria energetica. Catturare elementi naturali, invece di emetterli come gas serra, consente il passo successivo verso il futuro di un&#039;energia pi\u00f9 pulita, sostenibile e conveniente: l&#039;emergere di una nuova economia basata sul riutilizzo e il riciclaggio di sottoprodotti naturali come preziose risorse industriali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Invece di emettere gas serra, la CO2 utile e preziosa per l&#039;industria viene catturata e vendibile, insieme ad altri sottoprodotti di gas industriali (Argon e Azoto). Questi gas possono quindi guidare in modo pulito il recupero di petrolio migliorato a basso costo e con sequestro di carbonio, la pulizia dei gas acidi, la produzione di cemento e plastica e la produzione di ossigeno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stanno emergendo anche altri percorsi verso il riutilizzo e il riciclo della CO2. Un progetto degno di nota \u00e8 condotto da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbfix.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Correzione dei carboidrati<\/a>, un&#039;azienda che sta lavorando per miscelare la CO2 catturata con l&#039;acqua e iniettarla in profondit\u00e0 nella terra, dove la CO2 si lega chimicamente con la roccia basaltica per formare nuova roccia nell&#039;arco di pochi anni anzich\u00e9 in un periodo di centinaia di anni.
