FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc. attended the AHR Expo in Chicago, IL on January 23 – 25, 2012. This show proved to be a huge success for SPX Cooling Technologies as it was attended by a record setting 40,000 registered visitors. This year’s show was also the largest AHR Expo in the 82-year history of the event, making it the world’s largest HVACR event. This year, SPX Cooling Technologies displayed the Marley branded NC and MD cooling towers, Geareducer and a new Ultra Quiet fan. The NC cooling tower, currently the highest capacity cooling tower in the market, has a higher efficiency design that provides up to 20% lower energy costs. The optional splash attenuation on the MD cooling tower drew much attention from those interested in enhanced sound dampening. Hanging from the ceiling, the new Ultra Quiet fan was introduced to the public at the show. It is designed for HVAC cooling tower applications where very low sound is a necessity. The wide chord blade design delivers superior airflow and pressure capability at reduced speed. On Tuesday morning, SPX Cooling Technologies’ employees and manufacturer representative firms for the Marley and Recold brands attended a company sponsored annual Rep Breakfast. JP Valiulis, Director of Sales: HVAC, Light Industrial and Refrigeration, hosted the event and presented company updates and highlights for the coming year. This was followed by a ceremony in which awards were given to manufacturer representative firms and individuals based on performance, sales and goals reached. The 2013 AHR Expo will be held in Dallas, TX on January 28-30.
