SPX Cooling Golf Tournament Raises Record $125K for Charity!
On December 18th, 2025, Director of Sourcing Joe Hughes, along with other executive members of the SPX Cooling team, proudly presented checks to Literacy KC et Engineers Without Borders USA in our Overland Park office.
Each organization received $62,500, the result of the 2025 SPX Cooling Charity Golf Tournament’s record-breaking year! Thanks to the generosity of tournament sponsors, players, and volunteers, this milestone reflects the power of community and collaboration.
Every dollar will help advance literacy programs and engineering projects that make a lasting impact locally and globally.

100% of the net proceeds from the SPX “Tee Off For A Cause” Charity Golf Tournament will be donated to Literacy KC and Engineers without Borders. Literacy KC offers a welcoming community for adults and families to improve literacy skills and enhance quality of life. EWB-USA builds a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.
