Charity Golf

On September 18, nearly 150 golfers hit the links at Brookridge Country Club in Overland Park, Kansas, for the Annual SPX Charity Golf Tournament – a tournament organized by SPX Cooling to benefit two charitable organizations, Engineers Without Borders (EWB-USA) and Literacy KC. After all golfer registrations, silent auction bids, and additional opportunities for players to donate throughout the day, this year’s tournament ended up raising more than $65,000 for EWB-USA and Literacy KC!

Congratulations to all involved – especially our sponsors and volunteers – and thank you for your help in supporting these essential organizations. We hope everyone had a blast on the course; we could not be more excited about the outcome. For a quick look at some of the fun we had along the way, check out our collection of tournament-day photos below:

100% of the net proceeds from the SPX “Tee Off For A Cause” Charity Golf Tournament will be donated to Literacy KC and Engineers without Borders. Literacy KC offers a welcoming community for adults and families to improve literacy skills and enhance quality of life. EWB-USA builds a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.
