Overview
SPX Corporation acquired Marley Cooling Tower in 2001—in 2005 Marley’s name was changed to SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc. Even though our company name was changed, we continue to manufacture, sell and service Marley brand cooling towers, parts, and accessories.
Since its beginnings in 1922 in Kansas City, Marley continuously developed its position as the world’s only full line cooling tower manufacturer—from the first crossflow cooling tower in 1936 to the first hyperbolic natural draft tower in North America in 1961 and the development of the parallel-path wet-dry hybrid cooling tower in 1971.
