The Marley ABHi integrated basin heater package controls the ON and OFF operation of the basin heater device providing freeze protection in the cold water collection basin of a cooling tower.

The Marley basin heater system is pre-engineeried, UL Listed and CSA Approved for cooling tower basin freeze protection during system shutdown.

Ignoring any negligible amount of sensible heat exchange that may occur through the walls (casing) of a cooling tower, the heat gained by the air must equal the heat lost by the water. This is an enthalpy driven process.
